FIELD: physics; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at, e.g., developing portable probe radio-frequency pulse sources. Capacitors and discharge gaps are mounted within two series Marx's electric circuits. Electric circuits are mounted along the coplanar divergent lines with forming guiding structure after discharge gaps actuated. Two electric circuits are interconnected with the start discharge gap and closing capacitor. After all the capacitors are charged to the same high voltage, start discharge gap is actuated with time-sequential actuation of the rest discharge gaps. Electromagnetic wave with part of energy to be irradiated to environment propagates towards the closing capacitor.
EFFECT: design of device combining functions of high-voltage pulse generator and radiating antenna.
