FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: winding mechanism comprises vertical mandrel furnished with multiple segments. The segments are hinged onto the base of disk-like plate together with upper tabs hinged to the mandrel upper part. The said part moves from position perpendicular to the mandrel axial line to form a reel for wire or rolled wire to the position whereat the aforesaid part is directed upward to allow removing wound bundle. The proposed device comprises also safety appliances to prevent shift of the aforesaid segments in winding. Before and during the mandrel rotation, the hinged tabs are furnished with cam which, on turning it downward, clamps appropriate segment to form the first safety joint. The said segments are fitted, by their lower part, into the base flange to form the second safety joint acting counter centrifugal force. Note that inner intermediate T-like tooth represents continuation of each sector clamped in inner T-like groove with a gap relative to the mandrel central jointing casing.
EFFECT: ruling out locking of winding device.
