FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to unit for rod winding in rolling mill. Unit contains installed behind rolling mill flying shears for rod cutting, reversible separator, guiding arrangement for arrived wire, winded into bundle, at least, two ballers for coils forming, each of it has drum; with opening external flange for providing bundle extraction since winding finishing, with flange connected to movable guide facility of wire introduction for winding launching and coil forming. Conveyor for removing and movement of bundle into different place, implemented in the form of stand with flag revolute arm of spanning type and facilities for its lifting and omission. At the end of the lever it is engaging facility for latching by means of subtended clamps or jaws, located crosswise to each other and implemented with ability of its revealing for latching by them and bundle retrieval from drum of baller and bundle location after fringe into are of its further processing. Jaw details can interact with located in two rows face to face mobile rolls for its transfer by means of revolute arms and corresponding system, imparting them upon the fluid medium influence, pressurised, from turned upwards its location, in which they are pressed to bundle. Additionally rolls are mounted on subtend parallelogram articulated joint, installed on roller bearing with the facility, resilient pressing them to bundle during its winding as long as located face to face jaw details would engage bundle for its extraction from drum mandrel outside, clutch bundle between rollers, with conveyor is located with ability of bundle travel from baller to retrospective banding machine with two located face to face banding groups for bundle binding, located between clamping jaws.

EFFECT: it is provided unit simplification, its productivity gain and improvement of rod.
