FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: coiling device contains a drum with a mandrel and a basis flange, and an external mobile restrictive counter flange in which the counter flange can be opened for provision of removal possibility of the finished coil from a mandrel of the coil along the axis. Thereat dredging is executed in a basis flange for reception of an initial site of a wire/rod which can have the turned trapezoid ring form with corresponding narrowing in a direction to the basis, for independent catching of a wire/bar, to start coiling of a wire/bar without necessity of use of pincers.

EFFECT: formation of homogeneous dense coil of rather big size is provided.
