FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to agriculture, particularly to protection of gardens and forests from pests. The mobile electro-optical device for killing flying insects has an insect collector, striking device, source of attracting light and a supply unit. The striking device is a magnetron, placed on top of the insect collector. The source of attracting light is in form of a line of light emitting diodes, consisting of ultraviolet, blue, green, yellow, red and white ultra-bright light emitting diodes. The supply unit consists of series connected electric generator, rectifier, molecular energy accumulator and a frequency converter, to which the magnetron and light emitting diodes are connected.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and increased number of attracted and killed insects of various types.
