FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to food industry, namely to packaging of product heated before consumption initiated by exothermal reaction. The self-heating packaging for food products contains a container for the food product, activator and a thermal module. Module casing cavity includes solid reagent and has an closed chamber of oblong form made from elastic material. The chamber is filled with liquid reagent. The activator is in the form of flexible rod. The first outermost part of the rod is in the form of a loop that can be strapped up by pulling to the second outermost part of the flexible rod and that comes across the closed chamber. The second outermost part of the flexible rod is put outside through the opening in the side wall of the thermal module. The container for food product is at least partly located in the thermal module casing cavity. The side wall of the thermal module casing is hermetically connected with the side wall of the container for food product across the whole upper part.
EFFECT: invention provides for the decrease of labour coefficient when producing the self-heating packaging for food product and simultaneously provides for the increase of the convenience o its usage.
