FIELD: household goods and personal effects; packaging materials.
SUBSTANCE: self-heating package system consists of a housing, a pressure-tight container for the product storage, a closed chamber filled with water and an actuator represented by a flexible tape. The container has an outwards projecting ring-shaped collar tightly enclosed by the upper section of the housing side wall all along its outer perimeter. On the housing side wall beneath its upper section there are corrugations arranged so that to form channels and sections of the side wall inner surface. The elongated-shaped closed chamber fabricated of an elastic material is placed inside the reaction compartment whose cavity is at least partly filled with a heat generating material represented by a homogenous mixture of calcium oxide with anhydrous silica gel in the ratio of 1:1.3-1.5 (w/w). The flexible tape first end section forms a loop engirding the closed chamber crosswise. The loop is tightened when the user applies a pull force to the other flexible tape end section.
EFFECT: heat generation period extension; simplified design; tightness of the container connection to the housing; reliably rigid fixation of the container inside the housing cavity.
