FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: flat heater body comprises a container made of flexible gas and water permeable material with exothermic composition initiated by liquid reactant. The body is made of two analogous sheets from gas and water permeable, heat conducting material which are tightly interconnected as per the closed loop so that to form a closed cavity with two opposite heat transferring walls. The closed loop comprises two opposite mouth sections with their upper ends being coupled by a stopper section and two opposite side sections with their lower ends being coupled by a bottom section. The lower end of each mouth section is connected to the upper end of the respective side section by a respective shoulder section. The form of the body sheets provides for the heat-dissipating sectors sticking outside and being placed on the external surface between each shoulder section of the closed loop and the adjacent mouth section.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of using the heat released as a result of the exothermic reaction and simultaneous improving the ease of use and reducing the material capacity of the device.
