FIELD: instrument making, food industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed to control potatoes or similar products comprises loading device to transfer potatoes in multiple rows, conveyor to take potatoes rows from the said loading device and to move it further on with the rows preserved. It also comprises a chamber linked up with the appliances designed to process images for recording and estimating every separate potato tuber on conveyor and a sorting device controlled by the image processing appliances. The sorting device is designed to sort the potatoes. The conveyor comprises multiple horizontal rollers with their axes of rotation are arranged parallel to the said rows motion. The said rollers are arranged to run in the support frame and are linked up with the first rollers driving device. Each of the said rollers can independently reciprocate along the straight line passing in vertical plane comprising the axis of rotation of every roller and inclined a bit upward, if seen along the motion direction. As a result, the rollers are linked up with the second driving device causing reciprocating oscillatory motion of every roller along the said line.
EFFECT: simple design, higher quality of sorting.
