FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport. The proposed platform car comprises frame (1), two twin-axle bogie (2), face walls (3) and lateral posts (4) furnished wit elastic coating and retainers. One of the lateral posts accommodates a cargo fastener representing coated cable flexible elements and two chains connected, via thimbles, with the coated cable, and a screw-type tensioning mechanism. Every retainer represents a plate with two co-perpendicular slots located in one plane perpendicular to the platform car lengthwise axis, two L-like guides facing each other and a recess.
EFFECT: higher security of cargo fastening at various heights of cargo loading, safety of both cargo carried and platform car equipment.
