FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry for analysis of natural sites and industrial projects to concentrate, separate and test various components. Silicic acid xerogel is produced by acidolysis of 25-30% liquid glass solution, performed with hydrochloric acid added until gel is produced wherein then complexon III solution of concentration 10-2 M is added to provide metal ion fixation. Micellar phase of nonionic surfactant is produced with strong electrolit - sodium sulphate added by mixing 10-20% Triton X-100 solution and 0.01-0.02% organic reagent solution in equal volumes. Produced micellar phase enriched with organic reagent, is coated on xerogel surface by mixing and thereafter dried. Micellar phase and silicic acid xerogel are mixed in weight ratio 1:1.1-1.4.

EFFECT: disclosed invention allows for large quantity of sorbents modified by various organic reagents applied as indicator powders and fillers of display tubes, intended both for selective, and generic detection of wide range of toxic elements in of natural sites and industrial projects.
