FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sweet corrosion protection of metals and can be used, e.g. at oil-field and oil-refining works. Method involves introducing inhibitor into corrosive medium contacting to iron surface in concentration 0.1-25.0 mg/l. Herewith corrosion inhibitor is rhodanine and its 3- or 5-derivatives of general formula I or , where R1=R2=R3=H (I-1) R=(CH3)2C= (II-l) R1=NH2; R2=R3=H (I-2) R=H-C5HnCH= (II-2) R=CH2CH=CH2; R2=R3=H (I-3) R1=H-C4H9; R2=R3=H (I-4) R1=CH2COOH; R2=R3=H (I-5) R1=H, R2=H, R3=C2H5 (I-6).
EFFECT: ensured possibility to inhibit low-concentrated sweet iron corrosion.
