FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of protecting ferrous metals from corrosion using organic inhibitors and can be used to protect various equipment made from steel, promising for use in etching solutions or in drilling solutions when implementing hydrochloric acid technologies in the process of oil production, preventing or retarding atmospheric corrosion of structural materials based on steel by creating nanosized passivating films on their surface or as part of various protective varnishes and primers. Disclosed is use of sulphur-containing derivatives of 1,3,5-triazine-2-amine of general formula
in which R is hydrogen or CnH2n-1, where n=1-10, as a steel acid corrosion inhibitor. Invention allows extending the range of effective metal corrosion inhibitors.
EFFECT: high degree of steel protection – 68_1-99_6 % in accordance with results of potentiometric methods for inhibitor concentration of 2 g/l under conditions of acid corrosion – solutions with mass content of hydrochloric acid of 24 %.
