FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for steam generation and may be used in power engineering. Evaporating surface of steam generator covers parallel connected steam generator tubes and comprises segment of heating surface flowed through by fluid medium in counterflow to furnace gas channel and the next heating surface segment connected upstream heating surface segment, outlet of which on the side of fluid medium is positioned so that temperature of saturated steam established at the outlet of evaporating heating surface deviates by less than specified maximum deviation, 70°C at most, from temperature of furnace gas, in the place of heating surface segment outlet. Method for steam generator operation consists in the fact that fluid medium is drained from evaporating heating surface in place, in which furnace gas temperature deviates by less than specified maximum deviation, 70°C at most, from saturated steam temperature established at the outlet of evaporating heating surface.
EFFECT: high performance reliability.
