FIELD: generation of steam. SUBSTANCE: direct-flow steam generator is provided with combustion chamber to which vertical gas conduit is linked through horizontal gas conduit on side of flue gas and has some burners placed at height of horizontal gas conduit. Shielding walls of combustion chamber are formed by collection of evaporation tubes arranged vertically and welded gas-tight. Evaporation tubes of section enveloping output area of combustion chamber and inlet area of horizontal gas conduit are first laid in direction opposite to main direction of flow outside of combustion chamber, then they pass along main direction of flow of flue gas in combustion chamber and after this loop they become part of shielding wall of combustion chamber.
