In service of the parallel-current steam generator the differences in the temperature in the connecting section that envelops the outlet area of the combustion chamber and the inlet area of the horizontal gas conduit shall be maintained especially low. To this end, from the great number of the evaporative pipes made parallel for load by the fluid medium of the evaporative pipes several evaporative pipes pass in the connecting section in the form of a loop.
