FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: plate heat exchanger includes several heat exchanging plates that are assembled in block together with sealing gaskets by means of tightening elements via pressing plates with fittings, and the heat exchanging plates contains the main heat-exchanging part installed between two distributing-collector parts, and holes installed in angular parts of distributing-collector parts, to provide for inflow and outflow of cooled or heated liquid or steam, corrugations: for location of sealing gaskets, heat exchanging part, near holes, distributing-collector parts, at that the latter are arranged so that to provide for different hydrodynamic resistance at the inlet to space between neighboring heat exchanging plates - with alternating pitch or slope.

EFFECT: balancing of hydrodynamic parameters of elementary volumes of cooled or heated liquid in space between neighboring heat exchanging plates along plate width at their approach from inlet hole through distributor-collector part to the main heat exchanging part and increased efficiency of heat exchange efficiency between two mediums.
