SUBSTANCE: plate-type heat exchanger, which includes heat exchange plates assembled in a pack together with sealing gaskets by means of tightening elements and crimp plates, which have holes located in angular parts of heat exchange plates, equipped with inserts located between heat exchange plates; at that, heat exchange plates are flat, and inserts are made in the form of spiral springs oriented parallel to short side of the plate.

EFFECT: simplifying the design, reducing hydraulic losses, and increasing intensity of heat exchange.
