METHOD OF EARLY FORMS OF NEUROSYPHILIS DIAGNOSTICS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B3/00

Abstract RU 2352243 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely venereology, in particular to ways of diagnostics of diseases with use of methods of electrophysiological researches, and can be used in diagnostics of early forms of neurosyphilis. The method of diagnostics includes ophthalmologic inspection: examination of visual evoked cortical potentials (VECP) on reversive staggered pattern with registration of parameters - the period of latence of basic positive component P100 in milliseconds, amplitudes of component P100 in microvolts. The preliminary diagnosis is made on the basis of the obtained results of VECP research - the early form of neurosyphilis which are specified then by results of the cerebrospinal liquid test. In addition interocular and interhemispheric asymmetry is defined, and the preliminary diagnosis - the early form of neurosyphilis is established at registration of the period of latence of component P100 exceeding 114.0±3.0 ms, amplitudes of component P100 lower than 4.0±3.0 uV, and also absence of interocular and interhemispheric asymmetries.

EFFECT: method is referred on creation of informative, safe and exact diagnostics of early forms of neurosyphilis.
