FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely, traumatology and orthopedy and can be applied at treatment of diseases of joints, posttraumatic conditions, spastic paralyses and at active correction of various kinds of pathologies of limbs. The orthosis on the top extremity contains sleeves of a shoulder, a forearm and a brush and the splint bridged to sleeves. Apparatus sleeves are made of composite materials which at an identical thickness in cross-section-longitudinal sections have various local rigidity. Apparatus splints are executed in the form of the levers bridged to hinges by means of an axis and elastic dampers. The hinges are established on a balance arm with possibility of their linearly-rotational moving concerning two mutually perpendicular axes of the balance arm.
EFFECT: good openability, ease of the equipment and putting off from the patient; moving and bracing of sleeves of the apparatus to three-dimensional space according to biocinematics of natural upper limb.
