FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to hydrodynamic cutting and removal of elastomer armatures in stators of helical gerotor hydraulic machines and is intended for multiple operation of stators that used up their armatures resource, and also for repeated stator filling with rubber in case of manufacturing defects. Method includes action of superhigh pressure, for instance, 100÷500 MPa, at working medium, for instance, water in closed chamber, injection of at least one jet of working medium via nozzle with velocity that exceeds sound velocity in elastomer material, creation of superhigh jet pressure at elastomer surface. Velocity ν of jet injection is specified by ratio of , where σE is conventional strength of elastomer, for instance, rubber, σK is limit strength of stator material, ρ is working medium density, at that nozzle cut from surface of elastomer armature surface is located at certain radial distance that does not exceed heights of elastomer armature helical teeth, and angle between working medium jet direction and surface of armature helical teeth are changed at every helical tooth within the limits of 10°÷90°.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of cleaning.
