FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely, to power complexes providing consumer with electric and concurrent thermal power. Electric power complex includes power supply system components such as, at least, one consumer facility - external grid transformer substation, thermal power source, e.g. boiler station and co-generators. The electric power complex is also comprised of a co-generating plant connected in parallel to the grid substation to enable back streaming of generated power excesses into the external grids. The co-generating plant produces backup power having maximum value accepted as no less than full power of the grid substation. The above plant is provided with control system ensuring plant co-generators operation under normal operational conditions, mainly, permanently, at nominal power of each co-generator and their operation when grid substation is tripped, for example, in emergency cases. The control system provides for combining plant co-generators differing by total nominal and generated power and by the number of involved into operation co-generator items adapted to the current changes of power of consumption and concurrent thermal power utilisation.
EFFECT: complex ensures improved reliability and environmentally-free operation under reduction of power prime cost.
