FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely, to power complexes providing consumer with electric and concurrent thermal power. Method of consumer supply with electric power provides for electric power supply from the external grid transformer substation and co-generating plant connected in parallel to the above substation and generating electric power avoiding back-streaming into external grids. The co-generating plant is provided with one or group of co-generators with concurrent thermal power utilization system. The power is supplied to the consumer facilities as adapted to current power needs and situations in external grids by changing the supplied power from maximum to minimum. At the same time, generating power of co-generating plant being total nominal powers of co-generators is assumed as not exceeding minimum power of consumption. It is used as backup power for continuous power supply of part of consumer facilities, preferably those requiring power backup or uninterrupted power supply.
EFFECT: improved reliability of consumer facilities power supply under emergency conditions such as blackout or loss of important consumers power supply from external grid transformer substations having positive effects on total municipal infrastructure.
