FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine area, specifically to roentgenology and neurology, and concerns methods of skull examination for basilar region asymmetry ensured by relative locating of a line through mastoid apex, a line through the most extended condyles and an inion line, on a roentgenogram in a direct projection through open mouth. If the angulation of the line through condyles or mastoids is 2° and more relative to the inion line, asymmetric basilar region is diagnosed.
EFFECT: accuracy and information value of skull examination for asymmetry.
