FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. A point located on a bisector of angle between clavicle and medial pedicle of clavisternomastoid muscle is punctured one centimetre upwards and ectad. A needle is directed under clavisternal joint towards sternum midline to the interface of its middle and superior third slipping by sternum posterior border under X-raying control, herewith avoiding a needle shade aligned with aortic arch shade. Then a conductor is transmitted through the needle which is removed, while afterbreast is catheterised through the conductor. Novocaine 0.25% dosed 1.0 ml per kg of body weight is supplied through the catheter.
EFFECT: method allows for prolonged blockade of preaortic and cardiac nerve plexus, for improved procedure safety, for reduced risk of mediastinum organ injury, for eliminated necessity of special Dudko needle.
