METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOOSE MATERIAL PROCESSING Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B03B13/00

Abstract RU 2353434 C2

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods and devices for loose material processing, particularly processing minerals and carbonic hard materials, such as coal, iron ore, manganese, diamonds and other materials. The method of loose material processing consists in following stages, wherein the following is performed: supply of loose material and solid medium to a separator with solid medium so, that loose material is separated by density of solid material relative to density of solid medium; control over at least two parameters relating to density of solid medium to facilitate indication of value of material separation with the separator; also, at least two parameters are chosen out of a group including density of solid medium, pressure of mixture of solid medium and loose material, rate of supply of mixture of solid medium and loose material, common rate of supply in a processing installation equipped with a separator with solid medium, and ratio of volume or weight rate of flow of loose material; determination out of the said of at least two parameters of induced values indicating efficiency of separation of the separator, notably, that each induced value is a measure of density of solid medium; comparison of the said induced values with specified values presenting required density of solid medium and creation of an alarm condition, if one or more out of the said induced values deviate from the specified value at a preset value, so that density of medium can be regulated. The method is performed by means of the device containing the separator with solid medium, the facility for supply of loose material and solid medium, the facility for control over at least two parameters relating to density of solid medium, the facility for processing data for determination of induced values out of the said parameters indicating efficiency of material separation with the separator, the comparative facility for comparison of the said values with specified values, the alarm facility for creation of the alarm condition, if the said values deviate from the specified range of values at a preset value.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of material separation.
