FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention refers to method and device for determining efficiency of processing device for processing crushed material. Proposed method includes the following steps: radiation image capture after radiation has passed through crushed material specimen, prior to and after material has passed processing device; measurement of thickness of each particle of the above material; determination from captured images of crushed material parametre prior to and after material is processed in processing device; determination of measure of effectiveness of the device by considering parametre of material which left the device in relation to expected parametre of material which left the device in relation to parametre of crushed material loaded to the device.

EFFECT: developing method and device for determining working performance of processing device, which provides reduction of time for repair operations.
