SUBSTANCE: effective separation section Le of separation chamber of hydrocyclones begins on the throat of small diameter Dt 9 where acceleration and velocity of mixture cease to increase. Effective section Le is ended on outlet with lower efflux 3 from separating chamber 1 and has such relation of the sum of areas of section on chamber length Le to the sum of volumes of these sections which gets into definite limits for intensification in this manner of efficiency of mixture separation, particularly, separation of small diameter droplets dispersed in the mixture.
