FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: oscillation of the flow meter pipe and balancer oriented parallel to the pipe generate deviations in it, similar to the Coriolis ones, including the bending oscillation regime of the second order, due to the redistribution of the fluid mass along the balancer. The resonance frequency of the balancer in the oscillation regime, the number of nodes of which is equal to the number of deviations of the flow meter pipe, is close to the frequency of the latter. When the density of a fluid flowing through the flow meter pipe changes, the ratio between the amplitude of the oscillations in the regime of excitation of the pipe and balancer as well as between the Coriolis deviations of the pipe and deviations of the balancer similar to the Coriolis ones should be changed.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy.
