FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method of granulated mineral charge sintering, mainly, limestone or dolomite sintering, is performed in furnace with parallel stacks, which is equipped with at least two stacks connected between them with transfer passage; two stacks operate alternately as stack for sintering and stack for regenerative discharge gas by means of gas flows exchange. To supply working material for sintering regardless of consuming considerable time change of gas flows direction, when pressure in the furnace stacks is dropped, discharged gases are sucked off during supply in short-time with raised intensiveness so, that pressure at a charge hole drops to atmospheric and thus leakage of gas through the charge hole can be prevented. As a result, granulated material for sintering can be supplied several times during one cycle of sintering so, that the temperature of discharged gas does not rise fast, and this facilitates prolonged time of sintering.
EFFECT: upgraded operational characteristics of furnace.
