FIELD: heating, fuel.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to engine-building and can be used for obtaining a stable water-fuel emulsion with partial purification of the fuel from resins, sulphur compounds and heavy hydrocarbons, which have high boiling point. The diesel fuel is first dispersed under high pressure and saturated with hydrocarbon gas. Pressure is then increased again and the diesel fuel is dispersed in a vacuum. Water is passed into the vacuum cavity, containing copper ions and, after mixing, a water-fuel deposit is separated from a water-fuel emulsion with 8-12% water mass content. After first treatment, concentration of associated water in the fuel can be increased to 25%. With repeated treatment, the obtained water-fuel emulsion contains significantly less resins, sulphur compounds and heavy hydrocarbons, which go into the deposit, thereby retaining lubricant properties of the fuel.
EFFECT: obtaining engine fuel in form of a homogenous and stable water-fuel emulsion without use of surface active substances.
