FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to heat accumulators intended for accumulation, storage and area of heat during start-up of internal combustion engine cooling system. Heat accumulator comprises tank, nozzles for coolant inlet and outlet, at that in heat-insulated tank with cooling liquid of engine cooling system, two return float heat insulation valves are installed, being connected by rod to each other and stem. According to the second version, return float heat-insulated valves connected by rod to each other and to stem are arranged in the form of separate unit installed in heat-insulated body, which is connected to heat-insulated tank with cooling liquid of engine cooling system. In order to provide for forced circulation of liquid, electric pump is provided.
EFFECT: simplification of heat accumulator design, increased efficiency of its operation and convenience of application.
