SUBSTANCE: electrodes, such as anodes and cathodes, may include master material exposed to preliminary lithiation prior to contact with electrolyte. Lithiation of master material may be realised by means of master material dispersion in metal lithium to produce mixture of master material and metal lithium, and mixing of master material and metal lithium mixture to procure contact between master material and metal lithium to arrange lithiation of master material prior to contact with electrolyte.

EFFECT: high specific capacity, proper cyclicity and improved safety in operation.
