FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: cathode comprises a lithium-based electrolyte salt and a nonaqueous electrolyte solvent. Wherein the cathode is a polymeric composition obtained by treating the melt without solvent evaporation, i.e. the reaction product is a hot compounding between the active material and additives, including the polymeric binder and electroconductive filler. The cathode is characterized in that said binder is made on the basis of at least one crosslinked elastomer, and in that said additives further comprise at least one nonvolatile organic compound having a boiling point above 150°C at atmospheric pressure 1.013×105 Pa is used in said non-aqueous electrolyte solvent, wherein the composition contains said active material in a mass fraction greater than or equal to 90%.The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a cathode and a lithium ion battery.
EFFECT: cathode has a higher proportion of the active material in the composition.
