SUBSTANCE: system for switching on the basis of service class switching contains multiple devices comprising single ring. Each device contains frame processing block, service classification processing block, inbound ring switching block and scheduling block. Frame processing block processes incoming frame from the ring. Service classification processing block processes service classification for incoming Ethernet service from local port. Entry ring switching block selects outbound ring on the principle of the shortest route. Scheduling block establishes priority of incoming frame from "ДПК" ring which station will pass over.
EFFECT: implementation of Ethernet and ring services integration via service classification and unified scheduling of all services, combination of various classification methods to classify data frames and implement various types of processing of various classes, whereby different strategies providing different services and costs are achieved.
