FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used to diagnose insufficient contractile myocardium function. One-cardiocycle echocardiographic image sequence is real-time registered in PC memory. Endocardium is contoured on the first image. Single frame contour repositioning is traced with algorithm. For each contour point, variation of myocardium time shift velocity vector is evaluated. If shift velocity is 35 mm/cardiocycle and lower within maximum ejection and early diastole, insufficient contractile myocardium function is considered to be observed.
EFFECT: method is noninvasive, allows for higher evaluation accuracy of contractile myocardium function.
