SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to select surgical treatment for patients with post-infarction left ventricular aneurysm. Index of impaired local contractility of the left ventricle (INLS LV) on exercise, INLS LV at rest, end-diastolic volume of the left ventricle on exercise, reactivity index of impaired local contractility of the left ventricle, duration of myocardial infarction in months are determined. Then, based on the obtained quantitative indicators of the results of stress testing and the data of the patient's anamnesis, the separating function F(x) is calculated. The operation with the reconstruction of the left ventricle is advisable if the value of F1 is greater than the value of F2. Carrying out the operation of coronary artery bypass grafting without LV reconstruction is advisable if the value of the F1 function is less than the value of the F2 function.

EFFECT: method provides high diagnostic accuracy in determining the probability of achieving the required efficiency of cardiac surgical manipulations in the optimal volume of surgical intervention and allows choosing an effective surgical correction of the intervention prior to corrective surgery for a particular patient by evaluating the totality of the most significant indicators.
