FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and is intended for treating patients with ocular hypertension which arose as a result of eye contusion. In addition to application of medications reducing intraocular pressure, course of pterygopalatine - orbital blocks with pharmacological composition consisting of 0.1-1.0 ml of 5% pentamin solution, 4.0-6.0 ml of 2% lidocaine hydrochloride solution and 0.5 -1.0 ml of ketonal solution is carried out, blocks being carried out during 1-3 days.
EFFECT: stable normalisation of intraocular pressure in injured eye in order to recover eye hydrodynamics, preserve and improve visual acuity and recover visual field in patients with eye contusion, as well as reduction of rehabilitation terms.
