FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. A vertical adsorber contains a cylindrical body 12 with conic cover 9 and bottom 21. In the cover 9 there is a charging hole 4, a union nipple 5 for supplying a base mixture with a distributing main 6, a union nipple 7 for desorption vapour discharge and a union nipple 8 for a safety valve. Within interface of the cover 9 and case 12 there is a stiffening ring 11. Bars 17 with bearing supports 22 bear a flat grate 15, a gravel layer 1 and an adsorbent layer 13. A grid 3 comprises loads 10 preventing desorption carry-over. Used adsorbent 13 is discharged through an unloading gate 2. The bottom 21 comprises a toroid-shaped bubbler flask 20 and an inspection window 18 with a union nipple 19 for condensate discharge and water delivery. Adsorbent 13 is shaped as hollow spheres with a spiral groove on a spherical surface; as cylindrical rings with a spiral groove on the lateral surface; or as toroid rings.
EFFECT: higher gas flow purification efficiency from the end component due to higher contact area of adsorbent and the end component.
