FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of accurate relative positioning of multiple interacting elements. To provide for possibility of fast and accurate adjustment of cylinder or roller elements, according to invention, it is arranged that metering device is used to measure distances between itself and at least three basic points located directly or indirectly on every cylinder or roller elements. Depending on measurement results, adjustment elements are actuated on every cylinder or roller element so that distances between basic points and metering device match preset values as much as possible. At that metering points of every cylinder or roller element are located directly or indirectly on supporting element of cylinder or roller element.
EFFECT: improved fast-action.
