FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas turbine power plant incorporates a gas turbine engine with its intake, electric generator mechanically coupled with the gas turbine and a device designed to feed cooled air into gas turbine engine and comprising independent air compressor with a drive, turbo-expander and heat exchanger. The turbo-expander outlet communicates with the gas turbine engine gas intake and its inlet communicates, via heat exchanger, with the independent compressor outlet. The proposed plant incorporates also an additional electric generator, additional heat exchanger and lines with shut-off valves. The additional electric generator is coupled with turbo-expander. Both heat exchanger and additional independent compressor is furnished the said shut-off valve at its outlet. The turbo-expander inlet communicates, additionally, via bypass line with shut-off valve, with the independent compressor outlet. The lines communicating the turbo-expander outlet with inlets of gas turbine engine, the additional heat exchanger outlet with independent compressor inlet, are also furnished with their shut-off valves.
EFFECT: reduced rate of electric power drop at increased ambient temperature, supply of both heat and frost at lower and higher ambient temperatures, respectively.
