FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermochemical processing of metalware. The essence of the invention: a metalware thermodiffusion zinc coating device comprises a casing with loading-unloading opening and a cover which can be hermetically attached to the casing. The device is characterised by a horizontal parting plane and a rectangular shape in a longitudinal section. It should be noted that the device is made as a high-pressure vessel and its loading-unloading opening is placed on the long side of the rectangle in the device longitudinal section. A heat-resistant seal is set between the casing and the cover. The distance between the device top point and the parting plane amounts to 0.1-0.9 D, where D stands for the diametre of the device outer surface circumcircle in the cross section. The advantage of the invention consists in increasing safety of the items being processed and simultaneously simplifying the design and reducing power consumption.
