FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a bar in an airtight capsule rotating around a horizontal axis, consisting of two parts and having a horizontally placed airtight flange which connects said parts and is equipped with a sealing device. The axis of the bar coincides with the horizontal axis of the capsule. The bar is fitted with two end and at least one intermediate star-shaped supports, lying in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the bar. The intermediate supports include sets of radially arranged guides for mounting processed components. The end supports are in form of flat perforated discs and the intermediate supports are in form of a set of radially arranged flat guides. The guides are mounted uniformly on a circle and the space between each pair of guides forms a sector for placing the processed components. The guides are equipped with retainers which prevent radial displacement of the processed articles when the capsule rotates, and the ends of the guides fit in a circle whose diameter is shorter than the inner diameter of the capsule by 50 mm. In each set of intermediate radial guides, one of the guides has an increasing cross-section and is equipped with a gripper at the end.
EFFECT: enabling deposition of a protective film with a constant thickness of components, having considerable axial and small cross dimensions, low consumption of the saturating mixture and high efficiency of the furnace in which diffusion zinc coating is carried out.
