SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to instrument making and can be used for tracing low-altitude flight for tracking aircraft. To achieve this outcome, the device (1) has a set (5) of data sources, first device (6) for determining lateral flight trajectory and a device (7) for determining vertical flight trajectory. Device (7) determines the vertical flight trajectory during flight of an aircraft, section after section. Element (14) is meant for extracting a profile section from the data base (3). Element (15) is meant for determining the section of vertical trajectory using the extracted profile section. The section of vertical trajectory is determined based on the ascensional rate and descending characteristics of the aircraft, obtained from the above mentioned set of data sources (5).
