FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present engineering solution pertains to microwave technology, particularly to phased antenna arrays. The phased antenna array has a system for propagating a microwave signal, the input of which is the first input of the phased antenna array, a system of emitters and N double-mode phase changers, where N is an integer. Each of the N double-mode phase changers has an input absorbent and a phase-shifting section, connected to a polarisation changer with a magnetic core and a control winding. N outputs of the microwave signal propagation system are connected to the first inputs of N double-mode phase changers, the outputs of which are connected to the corresponding inputs of the system of emitters, which can emit signals with both orthogonal polarisations. The phased antenna array also has switch unit. The phased antenna array has a control unit, the input of which is the corresponding input of the former, and in each double-mode phase changer there is a second polarisation changer with a magnetic core and control winding.
EFFECT: possibility of suppressing noise with circular polarisation.
