SUBSTANCE: reflector-type active phased antenna array element has a radiator, a transmission-type phase changer, an amplifier, a waveguide circular polarisation selector with a polarisation converter function, the input of which is connected to the output of the phase changer, which is connected by the input to the radiator, wherein outputs of the waveguide circular polarisation selector with a polarisation converter function are connected to inputs of waveguide-to-stripline transitions, the outputs of which are connected to the amplifier.
EFFECT: designing a reflector-type active phased antenna array element with higher efficiency and a lower noise level, capable of operating as part of a reflector-type active phased antenna array with two orthogonal circular polarisations.
