SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of payment for data packet transfer service in communication system. Method involves configuration of network elements between first and second network elements of data route, accompanied by data packet transfer correlated to terminal device, from first to second element by the indicated route. Terminal device transmits or receives correlated data packet transfer over second network element. Payment control function stored at central third network element not related to data route forms configuration message for network element configuration. Configuration message in transmitted over first network element to network elements of data route. Indicated network elements perform at least partial assessment of configuration message for initiation and configuration.
EFFECT: improved reliability and accuracy of payment process in network elements of data route for data packet transfer in communication system.
