FIELD: treatment facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of splitting liquid mixtures containing oil-products and other organic compounds, water, gaseous inclusions and can be used in oil and gas industry in the systems designed for collection, treatment and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, treatment of effluent water, oils etc. The method implies heating the emulsion, jetting the original emulsion as a vortex swirling flow where the central zone is characterised by the reduced pressure produced by centrifugal forces and the peripheral zone - by the pressure providing for forcing out the light phase to the central zone of the swirling emulsion flow, withdrawing the central and peripheral flows as well as part of the peripheral flow into the original emulsion to be recycled. The withdrawn peripheral flow containing heavy emulsion phase is removed through the central zone of the swirling emulsion flow and the heat exchange with the said zone is provided.
EFFECT: using heat from the peripheral phase of the emulsion being split to maintain the process temperature mode.
