METHOD OF DISSOCIATED LIQUID SOLUTIONS SEPARATING AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C02F1/48 C02F1/46

Abstract RU 2355645 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods and devices for separating of dissociated liquid solutions and can be used in heat power engineering, chemical industry and other sectors. The present method of dissociated liquid solution separating comprises 1) the action of the electrostatic field induced crosswise the flow on the liquid solution passing through the process chamber and 2) following separation of the cation and anion fractions of the liquid solution carried out behind the electrodes (in the direction of the flow). The device for the implementation of the method consists of 1) flow-type chamber with the walls made of the dielectric material having in one end the inlet for liquid solution flow and in other end - the outlet designed in the form of dividing collector; 2) cathode and anode placed at two opposite sides of the flow-type chamber; 3) the means of unlike electrical potential feeding to the electrodes; 4) outlets of cation and anion fractions being the parts of dividing collector. At least one electrode is provided to be rotating and the construction of the electrical potential feeding means provides the possibility of 1) corresponding potential feeding to the part of rotating electrode which linear velocity vector coincides with the direction of liquid solution flow in flow-type chamber; 2) clearing of the fed potential when the velocity vector of this rotating electrode part is directed to the corresponding fraction outlet.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the traversal separating effectiveness of the solution flow ions for the purpose of cation, anion and neutral fraction separation under the influence of electrostatic field.
