SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a new strain, which produces bleomycine A₂ antibiotic, effective in treatment of squamous cell carcinoma and a range of other types of tumours. The Streptomyces griseocarneus subsp.bleomycini All Russian collection of industrial microorganisms S887 strain is obtained from multiple-stage mutagenic effect of methylenenitroguanidine, UV-radiation and ⁶⁰Co gamma rays on the initial strain N.1129 with subsequent extraction of mutants on media, containing aminoethylcysteine, carbamoylcysteine, canavanine and methylthreonine as selective agents. The obtained N. 7-99 strain is deposited in the All Russian collection of industrial microorganisms under number S887. Compared to the initial strain, this strain is more than ten times more active. The product produced by the strain is a single-component antibiotic. The content of the antibiotic complex in the culture liquid of the strain according to the invention is 140 mcg of mono-component bleomycine A₂ in 1 ml. Purity of the target product is achieved through chromatography of eluate with "КБ-2" on a Styrosorb MN-200 sorbent, on which only impurities are sorbed.

EFFECT: high activity of the new All Russian collection of industrial microorganisms S887 strain defines its prospective use in industrial production of bleomycine A₂.
